This is commonly known as keyhole surgery and is useful to diagnose and treat cartilage tears, traumatic
injuries and early arthritic problems. We use a fibreoptic telescope to visualise the inside of the knee in
conjunction with mini shavers and instruments to smooth and trim surfaces. 90% of cartilage problems and
70% of patients with early arthritis will be improved. This is easily performed as a daycase procedure and
caries low risks
